I chose to make a fanlisting for Rock Star because I believe the show is a great and interesting way to help artists grow, get exposed, and help new/old bands find their perfect singer. These last two seasons have been such life changing events for participating "rockers;" it was hard to turn away.

Some may dismiss the show of being mediocre reality TV, but I think underneath all of the editing there is a lot to be said about its genuineness. After all, the show is responsible for creating careers and fanbases alike - it can't all be fake!

Rock Star: INXS will always be my favorite season. Somehow I became what you would call "emotionally invested" in the show, in JD Fortune, and in INXS. I live and breathe music regardless and there was just something about watching dreams being realised for the underdogs that hooked me in. Sadly these dreams were probably dreams that otherwise could never have been realised, (especially for JD). And it is this very aspect, I think, that makes the show so important!

Ever since JD took the stage at the first finale, INXS have went on to sell out hundreds of shows. They have also managed to gain (and re-gain) a loyal, dedicated international fanbase, composed of all ages and genders. They will always continue to be one of my favorite bands and I wish JD and the boys the best of luck!

The latest band to find its way to Rock Star has been Supernova. Bandmates Jason Newsted of Metallica, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, and Gilby Clarke of Guns 'N' Roses have recently joined together with Canadian Lukas Rossi to create their first album.

Surprisingly, during the beginning of Rock Star: Supernova, it was again the homeless Canadian that caught my eye. The more I saw Lukas perform, the more I fell in love with his stage mannerisms, little boy charm, and personality. I had been a supporter since Rebel Yell and never lost faith. Supernova have just released their new album, Rock Star Supernova, on November 21st, 2006.
